Installation
(nothing)
Usage
1. SOM
forgets MIDI setting and, each time I start it, it always
selects the MIDI mapper.
2. When
I try to load SOM samples in a soft sampler (like Steiberger
Halion), all samples default to the same note, and I have to
manually remap each sample to the correct key.
3. I
installed SOM latest version (1.0 build 2) but it won't run,
showing me the "Active-X control can't create
object" error message.

Thanks
to Rudi, who reported the problem. This problem is
related to first SOM version, and has been corrected starting
from version 1.0 build 2.
Please
check your SOM version and download latest version if needed. (Back to Top)

If
you already have a correct SOM version, please be sure that Include
embedded note in WAV files option is checked before
clicking SOM START button. (Back to Top)

Things
are changed a little from first SOM version, and a library
called RicFreakWav.DLL has been added in order to perform the
embedded note operation (see #3 in this
page).
Please,
uninstall SOM, download complete setup and install
SOM again: the missing
library will be installed and registered, and SOM will run
without problems.
